Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is an online tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on December 1, 2015; the game was also released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S exactly five years later on December 1, 2020. Each player assumes control of an attacker or a defender in different gameplay modes such as rescuing a hostage, defusing a bomb, and taking control of an objective within a room. Players undertake solo or team missions or “situations” to train for future encounters with the “White Masks”, who threaten the safety of the world.

Dota is a game played between two teams of five players. The teams are called the Radiant and the Dire with bases on opposite corners of the map. On the map there are three paths, known as lanes, connecting the two bases with a river that runs through the paths, dividing them and the map in half. Every 30 seconds three small groups of units spawn at each team’s base, one for each lane. These units are called creeps, and they will travel down a lane and fight any enemy unit or building in the way.

Rocket League is a sport-based video game featuring a competitive game mode based on teamwork and outmaneuvering components. Developed by Psyonix, the game is cross-platform, but predominantly PC-based. Players work with their team to advance the ball down the field, and score goals in their opponents’ net. Rocket League is a technical game which involves both high-level dexterity and fast-paced gameplay. Its alignment with football/soccer makes it instantly accessible.
