GAIMIN Announces Rainbow Six Siege Roster

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is an online tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on December 1, 2015; the game was also released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S exactly five years later on December 1, 2020.

Each player assumes control of an attacker or a defender in different gameplay modes such as rescuing a hostage, defusing a bomb, and taking control of an objective within a room. Players undertake solo or team missions or “situations” to train for future encounters with the “White Masks”, who threaten the safety of the world.

To create authentic siege situations, the development team consulted actual counter-terrorism units and looked at real-life examples of sieges such as the 1980 Iranian Embassy siege. Powered by AnvilNext 2.0, the game also utilizes Ubisoft’s RealBlast technology to create destructible environments.

The game received an overall positive reception from critics, with praise mostly directed to the game’s tense multiplayer and focus on tactics. Several years after the game’s release, some critics regarded Siege as one of the best multiplayer games in the modern market due to the improvements brought by the post-launch updates. The company partnered with ESL to make Siege an esports game. In December 2020, the game surpassed 70 million registered players across all platforms. Rainbow Six Extraction, a spin-off game featuring Siege characters, was released in January 2022.

GAIMIN Gladiators Rainbow Six Siege Roster

GAIMIN Gladiators began developing this lineup with the help of Beastly and Jolten, meticulously testing individuals in various positions and roles. It took several months to finalize a roster, but we allowed them to have control over the decision-making process since we believe in their ability and understanding of the caliber of players the team needs to compete at the highest level! We worked together on a daily basis looking for the best roster possible.

Their mentality and objectives are similar to ours here at Gaimin Gladiators: to win the hammer trophy! A dream for every player competing in the pro league. However, we must begin somewhere in order to ascend the ranks and show everyone that Gaimin Gladiators deserves to be on that stage.

The Rainbow Six Siege Team consists of:

  • Jared Medeiros – Beastly
  • Matthew Valoroso – Jolten
  • Tyler Brunson – Aero
  • Alexandre Moranta – QrTz
  • Isaiah Bajek – Sikez
  • Coach/Analyst: Daniel Fox – Foxxee

Our primary objective is to qualify to the Professional League at the end of the season and earn the privilege to “hold the hammer.” Although gladiators tend to use swords, a hammer would look quite nice!!

True Ownership in Gaming: How GAIMIN is trying to put players in control of their game assets

Picture you pour in time and passion into grinding for that one legendary skin in your favorite game. It’s your pride and joy, the envy of your squad. Then, boom—the game shuts down, or your account gets banned for some random reason. Your skin is gone, and there’s nothing you can do about it. This is the kind of gut punch every gamer dreads. For years, you’ve poured in time, sweat, and funds into games, only to realize when you lose your account on the platform that you don’t own the stuff you’ve earned. It’s all locked away on some centralized server by a company that calls the shots.
