What an eventful month it has been, coming from an already strong month of November. December marked a decisive month for the GAIMIN ecosystem, and even though it might be the last month of the year, we showed no signs of slowing down and signalling our quest to go even stronger in the New Year. The month brought clarity to GAIMIN’s long-term direction, reinforced by concrete product progress, structural changes at the group level, and real use-case driven tokenomics, cloud updates, and partnerships announcements. December had it all for us and was far from a quiet year-end, setting the tone for even bigger quests in 2026.
Below is a recap of the key developments that defined GAIMIN’s final month of 2025.
One of the most significant updates in December came directly from our CEO, Nokkvi Dan Ellidason, who shared detailed insight into the performance and impact of the new GAIMIN Launcher released in September. As outlined in his update, the traction and behavioural data emerging from the Launcher have gone well beyond initial expectations, prompting a broader rethink of how GAIMIN structures and prioritises our ecosystem going forward.
The update highlights how real user engagement, network stability, and monetisation behaviour are now actively informing GAIMIN’s strategy across gaming, cloud, and infrastructure, as would be reflected in our other announcements later that month. The full statement can be read here.
December also saw the execution of a mega $GMRX token burn, marking a clear inflection point in GAIMIN’s tokenomics strategy. Rather than a routine deflationary event, this burn reflects a recalibration aligned with the evolving realities of the GAIMIN network and our growing utility.
The burn permanently removed a whopping 1.22 billion GMRX token supply from circulation, reinforcing GAIMIN’s commitment to long-term sustainability and utility-driven demand. The official announcement is available via CoinMarketCap here.
A major structural development in December was the public announcement of Orbon Cloud as GAIMIN’s dedicated cloud brand. Orbon Cloud represents a focused step toward serving startups, enterprises, and developers with decentralized cloud infrastructure, built on the supply generated by GAIMIN’s global user network (thanks to the GAIMIN Launcher).
Orbon Cloud will be a standalone brand with its own roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and customer focus, while remaining closely integrated with the broader organization as part of the portfolio companies of Ovia Systems, also announced this month. The announcement can be viewed here.

To close the year on a community-driven note, GAIMIN launched a December giveaway campaign in collaboration with Gaimin Gladiators. The campaign rewarded fans across gaming and esports communities and reinforced the close relationship between GAIMIN and our esports arm, GG.

December also saw the introduction of the GAIMIN Partnership Program (GPP), a structured initiative designed to support game developers and indie studios with the full force of GAIMIN’s gaming and esports resources. The program formalises how external partners can integrate with GAIMIN’s tools and connections, reach our gamer-rich audience, and grow alongside the ecosystem.
The official announcement outlining the program can be found here.

GAIMIN’s leadership presence continued to grow in December, with our CEO, Nokkvi Dan Ellidason, featured in an interview with Finbold. The discussion covered our organization’s evolving strategy, the role of decentralized infrastructure, and how recent product developments are shaping the company’s future direction.

Alongside the Orbon Cloud announcement, Orbon Cloud introduced the Orbon Alpha Program. This program offers Cloud Ops stakeholders a fee-free, risk-free, and commitment-free proof-of-concept trial enabling us to prove a 60%+ cost reduction on their current cloud spend. The goal is to demonstrate that a utility can be stacked on their current cloud architecture to give them back time and money, meaning the problem of cost-efficiency can be solved without completely disrupting their existing workflow. The program is available to 100 select partners who want to explore a solution to what has become the biggest pain point for every cloud ops personnel. You can join the Orbon Cloud Alpha Program here.

Rounding out December was the formal inauguration of Ovia Systems as the official trading name for GAIMIN AG’s portfolio of companies. This move introduces clearer structural separation between operating units, products, and future ventures, supporting more focused execution across our verticals.

December did more than wrap up 2025; it clarified our direction as an organization. Product traction from the GAIMIN Launcher, structural evolution through Orbon Cloud and Ovia Systems, and a recalibrated approach to tokenomics collectively set the foundation for the next phase.
As GAIMIN enters 2026, the focus shifts toward execution and scaling across all the verticals we operate in, especially our cloud business. The year may have ended, but the pace has not slowed; we are going even harder in 2026.
Stay tuned and become a part of the journey today!
