GAIMIN Ecosytem Recap August 2025

In August, we keep building. This summer has been about building towards the first product rollout of the GAIMIN 2.0 era. In August, we also heavily strengthened our tokenomics through multiple burns and other activities geared towards promoting utility and adoption; and we still have more to come.

Here are the key highlights of what happened at GAIMIN in August 2025.

Tokenomics: More $GMRX Burns

GAIMIN continued its deflationary commitment with two major burns in August:

With each burn, GAIMIN is reducing supply for the future demand, ensuring that $GMRX remains stable in the long term.

Thought Leadership on Cloud Security

In mid-August, we published a very enlightening article on Cloud Security and Data Protection Concepts in Cloud Computing. This piece breaks down the critical aspects of securing data in a cloud environment, especially in the era of distributed networks and rising adoption of Cloud technology.

It’s part of GAIMIN Cloud’s broader effort to educate developers, startups, and enterprises on why distributed infrastructure is not only more cost-effective but also safer.

Team Expansion: Engineering Excellence

To scale GAIMIN’s infrastructure, we welcomed a new Senior Engineer to our tech team this month. With a résumé spanning AWS, Wells Fargo, VMware, the U.S. General Services Administration, and even service in the U.S. Marine Corps, this hire represents the caliber of talent driving GAIMIN forward.

This addition strengthens our ability to innovate across our various products and Cloud infrastructure.

GAIMIN Ecosystem in Focus:

Want to learn all about the entire GAIMIN ecosystem in one go? Our CEO, Nokkvi, delivered a crisp 15-minute presentation at Mario Nawfal’s Roundtable, perfectly summarizing what the GAIMIN ecosystem is all about. From our gaming business unit to Cloud and Web3, this session captured how GAIMIN is building one of the most ambitious aggregated ecosystems in the world today.

GAIMIN’s momentum hasn’t gone unnoticed. CoinMarketCap featured our July Recap this month, highlighting the progress across our ecosystem last month. This exposure brings GAIMIN updates to a global audience and reinforces our growing reputation.

In anticipation of our upcoming BIG LAUNCH this September, we teased what’s next with a simple but powerful statement: “A new GAIMIN is coming”. Stay tuned!

Furthermore, the Gaimin Gladiators EWC Fantasy League campaign closes, as the EWC 2025 tournament also came to an end this month. It was quite an eventful tournament, and our winners from this campaign have been announced and rewarded.

September and beyond 🚀

August was about building quietly towards our big launch in this new phase of GAIMIN. In September, we will go loud! Major product releases and further development of our Cloud, and many more, are on the horizon for the coming months.

The message is clear: GAIMIN is not standing still. We’re building and moving towards the future.

Stay tuned and become a part of the journey today!

Why Cloud Costs Are Now a Board-Level Crisis

GAIMIN CEO writes to all peers in the cloud industry: providers, enterprises, startups, developers, and the finance leaders who now sit at the center of this storm. When the first promises of cloud were made, they sounded revolutionary. “Pay only for what you use. Scale up or down at will. Free yourself from the burden of hardware”. But today, that promise seems to have been broken. Instead of clarity, our industry has built a system of complexity. Instead of flexibility, it has created dependence. Instead of efficiency, it introduced unpredictability. The cloud, which was meant to be an invisible utility, has become a board-level liability.

GAIMIN Ecosystem July 2025 Recap

July was an event-packed month across the GAIMIN ecosystem. On the ground in Riyadh, the Gaimin Gladiators (GG) competed across multiple titles in the global spotlight of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025. Online, our network pushed out major thought leadership content and events, scaled up community campaigns, and continued tightening the economics behind $GMRX with another major burn. Leadership also stepped up with new strategic appointments and high-profile speaking appearances across various sectors of our industry.

GAIMIN Strengthens Strategic Vision with Two New Advisory Board Appointments

At GAIMIN, we believe the future is built not just with powerful technology, but also with powerful minds. That’s why we’re proud to welcome two outstanding global leaders to our Advisory Board: Steve Cadigan and Alexis Dahan.
