Major Product Releases and Cross-Ecosystem Collaboration
April 2025 was another eventful month for GAIMIN, underscoring our position as a leader in decentralized infrastructure and Web3 gaming. From the public rollout of key products like the File-Sharing service tailored for gamers on the Game Developer Portal to headline partnerships and panel speaking events, our ecosystem continues to mature on all fronts.
This recap offers a full snapshot of our progress in April, highlighting GAIMIN’s leadership exposure, product traction, community activation, and strategic momentum.
GAIMIN’s leadership team maintained strong visibility this April across major Web3 and DePIN conversations.
Our CEO, Nökkvi Dan Elliðason, appeared in two high-impact AMAs. The first, hosted on Binance Live by Crypto Astronauts, attracted nearly 15,000 live viewers engaged in a discussion on GAIMIN’s decentralized cloud infrastructure and AI growth plans. Later in the month, Nökkvi joined a DaGama-led panel to unpack the growing role of DePINs in shaping the future of distributed systems, spotlighting GAIMIN’s unique “gamer-powered” model.
On April 24, Kevin Blatt, GAIMIN’s Product & Business Director, presented at the Blockchain Gaming Alliance (BGA) Demo Day, where he formally introduced the Game Developer Portal and its ecosystem benefits. His presentation helped introduce GAIMIN as a powerful ally for both Web2 and Web3 game devs or studios looking to launch or scale their games.
Further validating our impact, GAIMIN was featured in multiple press articles on outlets like CoinTelegraph, CoinMarketCap, and many more, in April, which include the discussion of the evolution of computing, optimized file sharing using Web3, and a special press release on our File-Sharing launch.
A major milestone in April was the user-side launch of GAIMIN File Sharing, a decentralized file distribution service powered by our global network of PC gamers. This service enables clients to distribute large files more affordably, while users can monetize their storage and bandwidth via the GAIMIN.gg app.
To drive early adoption after launch, GAIMIN launched two-layered campaigns:
In April, GAIMIN officially activated its Game Developer Portal — a platform built to help game studios launch and scale directly within our ecosystem.
Core features include:
Kevin Blatt’s walkthrough at BGA Demo Day helped developers understand how the portal lowers both technical and economic barriers to entry — whether building in Web2 or Web3.
GAIMIN’s ecosystem expanded with two strategic partnerships this month.
Both partnerships enhance GAIMIN’s relevance across gaming, infrastructure, and intelligent compute delivery.
GAIMIN continued its GAIMtime streaming series in April with two ecosystem-focused events:
Both sessions boosted community retention and introduced new titles to the gamer base, reinforcing GAIMIN’s position as a content and distribution hub.
April set the tone for a strong Q2. With File Sharing live, developer tools activated, and new alliances underway, GAIMIN is entering May with heightened readiness across product, infrastructure, and community growth.
Expect further developer onboarding, ecosystem partnerships, and performance updates in the weeks ahead, as we continue building the decentralized future of gaming, AI, and cloud infrastructure.
